Next Gen HNC Social Services

The qualification gives learners the opportunity to gain skills they can apply and adapt to work effectively in a range of social service settings with individuals who have a range of conditions. Learners gain an understanding of the values and principles of social care, and how to integrate them with the necessary skills and knowledge. Individuals working in the social services sector must register with the Scottish Social Services

Council (SSSC) as a condition of employment. Completing Higher National Certificate

(HNC) Social Services fulfils the qualification requirements for most parts of the register.
